I spent a lazy afternoon watching a 2005 Korean movie, My Girl and I. This is the second time I watched the move, once on the local art channel and this time on my collection of VCD.
The story tells of a puppy love between a young girl Su-eun and a young boy Su Ho. He is an ordinary, simple and straightforward boy while she is the dream girl of all the boys in school. Their love blossoms when Su-eun asked Su Ho to buy her a croquette. Though he couldn't understand why, he complied with her request knowing the consequence of this action.
Words spread fast and the whole school starts to see them as a couple. The sweet puppy love develops into the most beautiful loves of their lives. For many years after Su Ho never forgets Su-eun even though death has separated them. There isn't a single day which he doesn't think about her.
Rating: 4 out of 5 fairy clouds. It is a very sweet movie but I wasn't in the mood for the lovey-dovey theme or crying my heart out to such love tragedy. Despite of that, it is rather aspiring to see love withstanding against time and death while in reality, I would say it suck big time to have to go through such challenge in order to see the beauty of it.
Just simply releasing a bit of influence into this world slowly, very slowly. Planning for world domination one day. I wonder if Dogbert will work for me then.

KUMAR: Stripped Bare & Standing-up
I have the most wonderful time watching Kumar's performance at the Esplanade this evening. He, oops! I should be saying SHE is such a brilliant person on stage. Fantastic and love her!
She always said the most politically incorrect things which are almost always true. Her sharp sense of humour cuts across every races. Being Indian, she seems to slam them a lot more. But she is rather fair most of the time in slamming all races. It is definitely not easy being the ONLY person on stage for the whole 1.5hours. She entertained everyone perfectly and I salute her for her stamina and stage aura. Well done Kumar!
If you are going to her show, you will most certainly enjoy her performance. If you didn't, well try again next time around.
