I watched a very touching Korean movie, "You Are My Sunshine". The story starts with life of a beautiful girl who works are at coffee shop (ahem, with extra services) and the simpleton farmer. It was love at first sight for our male lead, Suk-jung while Eun-ha is just a skeptic that has been through a tough time in life and doesn't believe in love. Don't blame her when she sees the most awful things in all men.
As the love devoted Suk-jung proposed to Eun-ha, you see our female lead slowly opening up her heart to the sincerity of true simple love. Of course with any Korean movie, their love was tested as her past catches up with her while he discovered she was HIV-positive.
Plot twisted and turned as with any other Korean movies. And at the end, you feel how true love battles and wins against all odd. Quite touching movie. Except that in real life, this is really a tragedy to go through.
Rating: 3 out of 5 fairy clouds. A nice movie if you have nothing else to do and want to get a little sobbie.
