Basil Alcove

I was truly led by the nose when I discovered this little restuarant at the side of Fortune Centre. The fragrantful dishes caught my nose and I immediately got a good impression of nice food.

I tried a few dishes with a friend today. Excellent is the only word I can describe it. Delicious, value-for-money, prompt serving, generous portion, fresh ingredient and etc. Although the ambience can improve, it is still relatively cozy little place out from the busy street.

I would love to treat the set lunch one day. I missed my uni days where I got to go out with my girlfriends to places like this. To cafes where we will have coffee or tea with some nice cakes or pastry or dessert to have a wonderful afternoon tea, chit-chatting or bitching session.

Life of a tai-tai which I once enjoyed. Now I'm just another working girl, needing to pay bills, mortgages, debts, loans, etc. Still a little small luxury like this is very much appreciated.
