The Cookie Museum for the Cookie Monsters

After my musical at the Esplanade, my friend and I popped over to the Cookie Museum to try out their seasonal promotions. There are small samplers of all the cookie they baked. The Chinese New Year range is especially intriguing to all your senses!!!

They have a variety of Ingots & Teals (spicy scallop), Nasi Lemak, Laksa, Hae Bee Hiam, Lau Cheong, etc. I high recommend the Hae Bee Hiam. It is unique, spicy and surprising to the taste bud. The balance blend of sweetness of cookie with the hotness of the dried chili and of course the main lead, hae bee. Perfectly and wonderfully made recipe!

The rest of the flowery and fruity cookies are also a savoury. I especially love the Cranberry and Lychee. The cookie melts in your mouth with a burst of cranberry tarty taste and lychee sweetness. As you bite into the cookie, you get a mouthful of crunchy roasted almond. A perfect wonderful little snack to go with a nice cup of earl grey tea. Hmm... high tea time!

On the topic of high tea, the English lush decoration of the Cookie Museum is another attraction. You feel as if you have walked into a traditional European house, and the butler is just around the corner, waiting to serve you tea and Madelaine. I will make another trip to the Cookie Museum for high tea and do a little more recommendation.
