Angels and Demons

Of the books from Dan Brown which are worth reading, are The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons. And out of the two, Da Vinci Code storyline surpasses Angels and Demons. But I have a pleasant surprise this evening; Angels and Demons is a much more enjoyable movie.

Ron Howard did an excellent job bringing the story alive. Together with great actors like Tom Hank and Ewan McGregor and the impressive and twisted illuminati ploy, you will bound to be hanging on tight to the end of your seat!

Science and religion or science versus religion? What is your take? This is the underlying plot of Angels and Demons. The movie differs slightly from the book. Either way, it starts with the illuminati ambigram being presented to Robert Langdon who is roped in by the Vatican police to help solve the mysterious death of a scientist and the kidnap of 4 perferitti.

The plot beautifully weaves and threads in history and art as Langdon frantically crosses the Path of Illuminati in Rome to decipher the clues which are vital in saving the lives of the 4 kidnapped cardinals. May the angels guide your way.

Rating: 4.5 out of 5 fairy clouds. If you didn't read the book, you will more certainly love the shocking thrills. But if you have read the book (like myself), it is still intriguing to see Langdon unravel the truth.
